Robert Trincellito's Biography

In December 2007, I weighed 216 lbs., had psoriasis, crippling migraines, volatile moods swings, depression, and severe hormonal imbalances. On January 7th, 2008, I was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, Multiple Sclerosis.

With a family history of Lupus, cancer, and heart disease, I had a lifetime of experience dealing with doctors and hospitals that seem to follow a certain protocol. Instead of addressing the illness itself, the doctors seemed more interested in dealing with the rules set forth by the insurance companies and
the treatments recommended by the prescription drug manufacturers.

In my attempt to seek an alternative, I asked my neurologist, 35 years in treating people with MS, to recommend a nutritionist. He could not. I was appalled that this doctor could not help me,  a patient newly diagnosed with MS, with the most basic of needs: health and nutrition. This is where my journey began.

After finding my own nutritionist and following regiments of supplements, fruit and vegetable smoothies and a steady cardio workout, I experienced noticeable progress pertaining to weight loss and mood changes. However, the supplements began to have a counter-productive effect. I began to experience hypersensitivity and insomnia.

It was around this time that I met my partner in Sweet Leaf Wellness, Jennifer Leigh. She introduced me to a lifestyle of juicing, a raw diet, good food combinations, and de-toxing through colon hydrotherapy. As I began to show progress with the new lifestyle change, I decided to stop seeing my nutritionist and the intake of all my supplements.

My moods began to stabilize, my psoriasis and migraines quickly disappeared; I had newly found energy and sharp mental clarity and focus. My body weight stabilized at 60 lbs. less and I had alleviated all symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis.

Because of my incredible, healing journey and my passion for heath, I’d decided to become a certified colonic hydro-therapist. I co-founded Sweet Leaf Wellness to assist those looking to maintain, regain, or change their current wellness status.

Everyday I reflect on a life of regrettable behavior; smoking, poor diet, and stress related anxieties. I used this memory to write my daily mantra, which guides me to living an active life today without the crippling symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis.

“I choose to live each day, in retrospect from my own future, that will be without regret.”
